Colleagues most annoying habits

In one of our recent survey's, we asked our users what colleagues most annoying habits were. We offered 8 options and these were the results .......

Coming in as the most annoying habit was the humming, whistling and singing (of which 23% chose) but on the other end of the scale came stealing food!!

What would you say is the most annoying habit that your colleagues portray? Tell us below...

Thank you

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who got involved in National Hug Your Boss Day last Friday.

Photos will be uploaded to the website soon enough and the winner of the "BEST BOSS" competition will be announced this week.

Friday was a great success - we had thousands of pictures uploaded and sent in. We heard Kiss 100 FM having fun with National Hug Your Boss Day and we were interviewed on BBC World Service.

It really does show that a lot of bosses are liked, to the extent of employees enjoying a hug with them....

Only 3% use fans in offices to cool them down

55% of offices are using air conditioning in the hot weather to cool off their employees. 42% open up their windows and only 3% use fans.

Air conditioning, on the downside, blows any lingering colds and bugs around and can spread illness but it is definitely the best option to quickly cooling down a hot and stuffy office. By an afternoon, fans and windows just do not cut it.

Do any of you have disagreements within the office about how cold it gets using air-conditioning? In our experience, those sitting by the air-conditioning always get freezing cold and those sitting further away from it, don’t see the benefits. Sometimes, people are never happy are they?!?

62% of the reserved UK workforce say they wont be sending a co-worker a Valentines Day card on Friday

62% of the reserved UK workforce say they wont be sending a co-worker a Valentines Day card on Friday.

Over the last 2 weeks, we surveyed around 500 people to ask them if they were going to send a Valentines Day card or present to a co-worker or boss. There always seems to be some “fancying” going on in the office so we wanted to know if people take it to the next step and show their love openly or secretly to that special person. This survey suggests most people don't!

38% however say that they would send a card or present which is still quite a healthy proportion of people. Watch out on Friday as you could be that special person!!!!!
