A new role was posted for Zizzi's restaurants yesterday who are looking for a "Regional HR Manager" to cover the South West of the UK.

This role is an opportunity for an HR professional with a real interest in talent development and a strong ER background. The role involves working closely with restaurant teams and Operations Managers to ensure we the company has the right people in the right places getting the best opportunities to develop their career within Zizzi. Building those working relationships will be key in the success of this role, helping to build and maintain successful teams of customer focused individuals. 

The role is a field based one and as one of three Regional HR Managers reporting into the Senior HR Manager, this role is key in delivering a consistent standard of support to the Zizzi's people up and down the country.

Office goss rife in London and the South of the UK

Our latest findings around office gossip compared how common it was in the workplace across the UK. 

67% of workers in London and the South said that is common and rife in their workplace leaving only 33% that do not experience it.

Workers in the North of the UK were the least gossipy of the lot with only 20% experiencing office gossip as common and rife.

We also asked those in the Midlands and East Anglia who were very closely matched like in Scotland and Wales. 54% felt it was common in their workplace around the Midlands and East Anglia areas and 46% in Scotland and Wales.

The Director Combat Air will lead the Operating Centre that manages Typhoon, Tornado, and the Battle of Britain Memorial Fight, F35 Lightning II, Unmanned Air Systems and UK Military Flying Training System, with responsibility for the leadership, line management and governance of the Operating Centre and an annual programme budget in the region of £2 billion split between major projects and equipment support.

The Higher Education Funding Council For England are currently recruiting for an Assurance Consultant (Qualified Accountant) in Bristol

The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) funds and regulates universities and colleges in England and is responsible for distributing nearly GBP4 billion a year for teaching and research in universities and colleges in England. We are the lead regulator for higher education in England.

You must be a fully qualified accountant or auditor with significant post qualification experience of risk assessment, financial monitoring or assurance related skills. Experience of a regulated sector, or of due diligence type work would be an advantage.

You will work with senior colleagues and institutional staff so excellent communication, presentational and interpersonal skills are essential. You should enjoy building relationships and working with others.
