With Valentines approaching, we have decided to research the most romantic careers around. Google describes romance as “a feeling of excitement and mystery associated with love” so we thought about those careers that encompass these feelings.
Here are just some of the careers that we came up with….
Novelist
A novelist is someone who absorbs themselves in writing. Someone writing about love, relationships, marriage etc would definitely fall into the love zone!
Wedding planner
The most exciting time for relationships can be planning their big day so to be sharing this excitement of love can be quite romantic itself.
Chef/Waiter
Not all chefs and waiters would experience the romantic side that some do. We are considering those waiting in small intimate restaurants where couples are sharing a romantic meal and chefs would involve themselves in creating special romantic recipes with delicious smells and vibrant colours. Just thinking about this experience gets us all gooey and warm.
Marriage Counsellor
Being involved in working through problems may bring certain stress and upset, but when you witness improvements, love, emotions, this job can certainly shed some romance.
Dating website worker
Whatever the exact role, being part of bringing individuals together to meet for the first time is extremely romantic – you cannot argue with that!
Poet/Song writer/Lyricist
Expressing true feelings and romantic gestures encourages physical attraction and is sure to get sparks flying. Words can make people really fall in love!
Wedding photographer
Capturing special moments throughout a couples wedding day can create huge feelings of excitement and satisfaction around love for others.
Sommelier
Along with food, wine can be part of a romantic atmosphere, whether in the comfort of your own home or out for drinks or dinner. Being able to serve loved up couples their favourite drinks would also fall under one of our most romantic careers.
